A born storyteller, Ashley grew up in a rambunctious home with her three younger brothers. Much like Wendy and the lost boys, they spent their days building forts out in the horse pastures and their nights wrestling, her creativity taking them on a multitude of adventures.
Ashley could often be caught reading under the covers with a flashlight or sitting in class with a fantasy novel open in her lap. While it started with Harry Potter and The Hunger Games, then the discovery of Rick Riordan and Cassandra Clare, today some of Ashley's favorite five star reads include The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller, The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss, and The Book Thief by Markus Zusak.
Ashley dabbled in many projects with the dream of writing her own series one day, but it wasn't until the COVID-19 pandemic hit that she realized it was time to focus her creativity. What started as a passion project to pass the months of not leaving the house, soon became a blossoming career to her great delight.
Today when Ashley isn't writing or working at her massage clinic, she can be found interacting with her writing community online, buying books faster than she can read them, or gathering the socks her dog Jackson notoriously steals.
